Making Amends with SGIS
Let’s kick things off with a quick update on my work through Brace Media. This week, I made the requested amends to the SGIS motion graphics project based on client feedback. It did change the piece a little, but that’s fair game since they agreed to pay additionally. I’m now awaiting their feedback, and maybe, just maybe, we can finally move on to sound design! Fingers crossed!
Pollux Technologies LLC Update
On the Pollux Technologies LLC front, we’re currently in a bit of limbo while we await the IRS to “do their thang” and alter the company structure as needed. Until that’s sorted, we can’t move on with the next steps for compliance. It’s a little frustrating, and it hampers current sales a bit, but hey, it’ll come when it comes, and we’ll be all over it!
A Supportive Call with a Friend
On a more personal note, I had a lovely call with my friend and coach, David Bradley, from Arizona, USA. We shared some laughs, offloaded a bit, and I ended up offering him some ideas for his social content strategy. It’s always great to connect with someone who understands the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. David’s a fantastic guy, and our chats always leave me feeling uplifted!
Hitting Goals Like a Pro
Now, let’s talk about the Empire in the room—Empire Base! This week has been monumental for my venture. I’m absolutely buzzing with excitement over the progress made!
Crafting multiple pages and content for the website has been a labor of love. But what’s really got me jumping for joy is the introduction of our new Growth services. These aren’t just your run-of-the-mill packages; they’re designed to empower clients to move forward and grow in ways they might not have thought possible. I can’t wait to serve clients with these offerings. It’s about making a real difference in their journeys, and that’s going to be incredibly rewarding!
A Calmer Week on the Baby Front
Now, let’s shift gears a bit. The baby situation has been a rollercoaster, to say the least. But this week? I’ve found a new sense of calm. Perhaps it’s the relief of coming out publicly about it, or maybe it’s just the universe giving me a gentle nudge to chill out. Whatever it is, I’m here for it!
The support and well-wishes from my friends, family, and even my international connections have been nothing short of heartwarming. It’s amazing how a little kindness can lift a weight off your shoulders. So, thank you to everyone who’s reached out—your words have made a difference!
A New Chapter with Rogue
As a lifelong cat lover, I’m starting a new chapter with our 13-year-old girl, Rogue. After losing weight quickly over the past few weeks, she had blood tests done on Tuesday, and it seems she has hyperthyroidism. We’re now trialing medication with her twice a day (and let me tell you, she’s not a fan of the syringe!).
However, I believe the medication is already having a positive effect on her behavior and dare I say, her stools as well! While she may become a bit more costly to keep around, she’s absolutely worth it—and her sibling doesn’t mind either!
The House Purchase: A Necessary Evil
Now, let’s be real for a moment. The house purchase has been a bit of a drain on my energy and brain bandwidth. It’s like trying to juggle flaming torches while riding a unicycle—exciting but slightly terrifying! The process can be annoying and frustrating, but I am reminded that progress, no matter how small, is still progress.
Every email sent, every document reviewed, and every decision made brings me one step closer to that next home. And while it might feel like I’m running a marathon with no finish line in sight, I know that each step counts. So, here’s to pushing through and keeping the momentum going!
